A sweet treat...

Now is time for a bit of cupcakey goodness.
It was my friends birthday the other day and instead of baking him a cake we baked a vast amount of cupcakes. I made 30 and she made 24. Basically, there was quite a few for like 10 people.
Anyway, we spent time decorating them and stuff and here they are.

So just to clarify, on this stand we had about 50 cupcakes.
We had some rose and white chocolate, earl grey and white chocolate, lemon, ginger, lemon and ginger, quadruple chocolate and finally, quadruple chocolate with hazelnut.

Just a couple of my granddad.

So as I was flicking through my external hard drive I found some photos I took about two years ago now of my grandpa, Paul Rogers.

And here's a couple taken long before I was born

Some past noms...

So recently I have been working my way through a load of old images and came across this selection of food based treats. Most of these are made myself. Some by my godmum, Dunns Bakery and the, oh so wonderful at food porn, M&S.
I hope you enjoy these images and don't suffer from indigestion later...

Thanks to my god mum

Thanks to Dunns Bakery

Thanks to M&S

See No Evil...

So I've started to take inspiration from the time old expression
See No Evil
Hear No Evil
Speak No Evil

I have started to create a body of work based around specific body parts.
For now I have mainly focused on the face but I will be making more updates on my page

When in Devon

Do as the Cornish do?
On my summer holidays this year I went to Devon and Cornwall as is the norm for my family.
Most of my fisheye images were taken there as well, as I got it a few days before leaving.
These are just some images of natures beauty and some people thrown in along the way.

See what I meant about beautiful sunsets?

I thought the way the light fell on my sister's face and hair showed such serenity and beauty

And because this guy was just a bit cool...

More photos from my holidays and such scattered through on my page

The stone lady

As I was going through my backlog of images I found some photos that I took one night of a statue near a library. I just found the way the lighting created the shadows appealing to get my camera out.
I will warn you that the quality of these images isn't great due to me using my shitty little compact, but oh well.

In these images I liked the silhouette of the statue and the shadows.
I feel these images kind of link to that them and I took these last bonfire night.

Something I meant to post earlier

So a while ago now I went to the zoo to look at the adorable animals and such.
Also to try and gain some inspiration and failing that just take some photos.
So here are a few on my snapshots from my trip...

This my friends is what i like to call the punkupine

What my friend believed to be a flying turtle

And on this one i just liked the fragility of the fins and the colours in contrast to the darker tones.
